Kat is a marine biologist (MSc) with extensive research experience, having worked with NGOs, universities and governmental departments across the globe, from Southeast Asia, to the Caribbean to the Maldives, and more.
She provides consultancy in marine science and conservation, including project design, data collection, and community outreach. Her primary focus is shark and ray biology and ecology, with additional experience in coral reef systems, marine megafauna, and ghost gear.
Recent work includes consultancy for a research centre developing its first shark conservation project in Thailand.

Marine Science Consultancy
Working in remote tropical environments alongside marine megafauna, Kat captures unique wildlife interactions and ocean landscapes through both photography and film. In recent years, she has further developed her visual portfolio alongside qualifying as a commercial drone pilot. Her photography has most recently featured by We Are Global Travellers across digital and e-book publications.

Kat is an experienced content creator and social media manager, having led multiple platforms for a marine-focused charity. Her work includes content creation for shark and ghost gear research projects, conservation website design, and licensed visual content used by travel and lifestyle brands.
She is currently open to collaborations with eco-conscious brands, creating content across travel, wildlife, conservation, and sustainable lifestyle spaces.
